They sought to create a new application that would act as a platform for today’s leading physicians to learn, share and advance their medical practices.The application needed to not only facilitate easier physician collaboration and cooperation, but also optimize the time of its medical professionals. Project made for Client Confidental in the Travel & Leisure industry for a B2C audience. The Challenge A well-funded startup sought Digital Authority Partners’ expertise to successfully position itself in a highly saturated market—the travel industry—through a combination of first-rate user experience, design, and marketing. Intense marketplace competition meant that the startup needed to ensure fast adoption by both suppliers and customers to avoid being overtaken in an already-crowded digital space. They enlisted DAP to not only create and implement their new product, but to develop successful marketing campaigns that attracted new users and converted them into paying customers. Our Approach We worked with the company’s CEO and venture capitalists to define the market opportunity for the product, its competitive advantage, a beginning to end user experience, development requirements, and a comprehensive marketing strategy. This required us to map the entire digital product, including: customer user flows, business and marketplace rules, user experience and design, web and app development, and marketing strategy. The Results DAP delivered both an iOS and Android native application, as well as a mobile optimized website, on time and on budget within 6 months.Our digital interfaces scored 5 out of 5 on three user tests for overall experience, look & feel, and ease of use.We beat market expectations by enrolling a large number of active users. With their large user base and complex requirements, the client needed a partner to effectively manage its mobile app strategy. They chose Digital Authority Partners to help monetize the app, improve its user experience, increase user engagement, and further grow its active user base. The DAP team continually defines and executes new features and functionalities across the app to drastically improve its performance across several key metrics. As part of a recent release, DAP launched the app with the following new features and capabilities: News introduction overlay, Survey experience, Notifications opt-in modal. Results: The News experience proved to be a significant driver of user engagement, increasing the average session duration of users interacting with the product by 40 percent.Push notifications are extremely effective at driving return traffic.
